Determining the level of financial support and paying our graduate students is a complex business! Internal equity issues, legal requirements, tax codes, budget constraints and other important issues must be taken into consideration and, in some cases, conflicting regulations or rules must be resolved satisfactorily.
In order to provide as much clarity as possible to the campus community who must manage these matters, as well as to the students themselves who wish to understand the issues affecting their finances, the basic policies and procedures noted on this page serve as a framework for understanding.
