Institute for Advanced Study
Princeton University and the Institute for Advanced Study are
independent institutions. Academic and administrative cooperation,
however, is a common feature of their neighborly existence. The
Institute for Advanced Study is composed of four schools and one
program: the School of Historical Studies, the School of Mathematics,
the School of Natural Sciences, the School of Social Sciences and the
Program in Theoretical Biology. The institute does not award degrees.
Information and application materials for a postdoctoral membership may
be obtained by writing to the administrative officer of a particular
school.
